Soror of the Year

Ms. Collette Jones is a dynamic leader and dedicated advocate for positive change, embodying the essence of service, growth, and community impact. As a Social Worker for the State of Texas, she works tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of children, driven by her unwavering passion for helping others become the best versions of themselves.

Beyond her professional commitments, Ms. Jones is a force within lota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc., Psi Chapter. As Membership Chair, she diligently works to grow and strengthen the chapter while her roles as Social Committee Chair, Founders' Day Chair, and Black History Committee member reflect her ability to plan meaningful events that unite and inspire others. Her leadership extends to co-chairing the Career Exploration initiative and working closely with the Future lota Leaders (FIL) program, where she empowers young people and fosters their personal and professional development. 

Her passion for growth extends to her personal life, where she embraces every opportunity to learn, explore, and connect with new people. Whether she is traveling the world or enjoying quality time with her family, Ms. Jones treasures experiences that deepen her understanding and strengthen her bonds. She approaches life with an open heart and mind, welcoming challenges that fuel her professional and personal evolution.
