This Iota teen pregnancy prevention project is designed to help educate communities and update an action plan for prevention.
Trained Psi Chapter members assist the educational system by providing remedial help for those with academic weaknesses.
Psi Chapter volunteers with the African American Museum for their annual events, including the TX Black Invitational Rodeo, Jazz series, and more. Every year Psi Chapter collects high quality, professional women's clothing, shoes and accessories to donate to Attitudes and Attire. In 2020, we donated over 500 items of clothing and over 60 pairs of shoes to help women returning to the workforce. Visit https://www.attitudesandattire.org
Psi Chapter has volunteered at the Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls facility, where we sorted and packaged shoes to distribute to orphans in the United States and throughout the world . Celebrating Life is devoted to educating, encouraging and empowering those most impacted by breast cancer. Breast cancer survivors in Psi Chapter and other members help raise money, volunteering for the Sister to Sister Fitness Festival and more to support the mission of the organization. Members of Psi Chapter, along with our Auxiliaries, volunteer every November to serve turkey dinners, as prepared by Central Market, for the Feast of Sharing event. Every December our youth group, Future Iota Leaders, help decorate Christmas bags that will be delivered to inmates; and members of Psi Chapter, our Pelati Auxiliary and our Men of Iota volunteer by stuffing the Christmas bags with the basic toiletries. Visit https://cocipm.org
Psi Chapter firmly supports and volunteers with the oldest Black Chamber in the country, the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce. Psi Chapter; dressed in our green jackets, white blouses and white slacks; manages the registration for their annual events; such as the Awards Banquet, Quest for Success, Night of Lights and more. Terrell State Hospital provides psychiatric inpatient care for individuals with in 12, 000 square miles. Each year Psi Chapter donates funds and toiletries to this state hospital. Visit
