Psi Chapter annually awards scholarships to promote interest in business education among high school and college students through planned programs. The recipient of either of these scholarships must reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
MACKEY-TILLMAN SCHOLARSHIP: This scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating high school female senior residing in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, who will be attending a four-year college or university. She must maintain a 2.5 grade point average. This scholarship is awarded to an eligible student for up to 5 years or 10 semesters.
Criteria:
· Female high school senior
· Must attend any public or private high school within the DFW area
· Demonstrate a commitment to higher learning and major in a Business-related field of study
Deadline: January 15th
VAHNITA D. LOUD EXCELLENCE IN LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP: This scholarship recognizes students who exhibit outstanding leadership qualities, demonstrating initiative, influence, and integrity in their academic and community environments. This scholarship aims to support the next generation of impactful leaders committed to professional growth and excellence.
Criteria:
· Female high school senior
· Must attend any public or private high school within the DFW area
· Demonstrate a commitment to higher learning and major in a Business-related field of study
Deadline: February 20th
MOTHERS PURSUING DREAMS SCHOLARSHIP: This scholarship is awarded to a single mother, residing in the D/FW area, between the ages of 18 and 30 who will be attending a local community or junior college, a trade school, or a four-year university or college. She must maintain a 2.0 grade point average. The annual scholarship is awarded to the eligible applicant for up to 3 years or 6 semesters.
Criteria:
· Teenage mother in high school senior or currently enrolled in college
· Must attend any public or private high school within the DFW area
· Demonstrate a commitment to higher learning and major in a business-related field of study
Deadline: March 15th
FUTURE IOTA LEADERS BOOK SCHOOLARSHIP: Psi Chapter recognizes and rewards Future Iota Leaders whose superior academic performance demonstrates enthusiasm for intellectual exploration and has a strong involvement in the programs of their school and communities.
Criteria:
· Must have actively participated in the Future Iota Leaders for three years.
· Be a graduating high school senior from any public or private high school within the DFW area
· Demonstrate significant leadership experience in school, community, or extracurricular activities
